Texas Tech Men's Tennis vs. Baylor

Texas Tech men’s tennis junior Parker Wynn was named Big 12 Player of the Week after his 2-0 efforts against No. 6 Baylor on Sunday, April 14. 

Wynn was a big contributor for the Red Raiders on Sunday in the upset against No. 6 Baylor, according to Tech Athletics. He notched wins in singles and doubles play for Tech as it went on to win with 4-2. 

Wynn and doubles partner Bjorn Thomson, now ranked No. 4 in the nation for doubles, beat the No. 1 ranked doubles team in country, according to Tech Athletics. It was the duo's fourth loss on the season. 

He continued his strong play in singles by winning in straight-sets against the No. 22 ranked player in nation. Wynn has now moved up to No. 79 in the rankings, his highest of the season, according to Tech Athletics.
