The Texas Tech women’s golf team fell to Pepperdine, 2-3, at the Lamkin Invitational on Tuesday, March 26, in San Diego, California. 

Freshman Anna Dong led the Red Raiders carding six birdies on Tuesday, winning her match against Hannah Heythorne of Pepperdine by final count of 5 and 3, according to Tech Athletics. 

The Red Raiders' second point was obtained by Louisa Brunt who carded four birdies in the third round of the tournament, according to Tech Athletics. She beat her competitor by a 5 and 3 count. 

The team will face the loser of the UC Irvine and San Jose State matchup on Wednesday, March 27.
