Texas Tech junior guard Terrence Shannon Jr. announced via Twitter that he has withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft and will return to the Red Raider men's basketball team in the fall.

This will be Shannon's third season with the team after appearing in 28 games during the 2020-21 season. He is the second leading scorer and averaged 12.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game last season, according to Tech Athletics. He also was named to the All-Big 12 third team.
