After a successful Spring selling alcohol at Texas Tech sporting events, the practice will continue during the 2019-2020 school year.

Alongside alcohol sales, Tech has also reduced the price of several menu items available, making Texas Tech sporting events more affordable and enjoyable for the average fan. For the first time in program history, alcohol will be sold at Tech football games this Fall at Jones AT&T Stadium.

With fan attendance at football games a growing problem, Tech Athletics has placed an emphasis on keeping fans engaged and plugged in to the atmosphere, especially after halftime. The introduction of alcohol sales along with mobile chargers for phones are just two of the changes tech has introduced to make gamedays more enjoyable for the average fan.

Tech has also introduced water refilling stations around Jones AT&T Stadium with the goal of helping fans stay hydrated in the Texas heat, along with balancing out alcohol consumption for fans.
