For those in the Texas Tech community interested in learning about business and cultivating professional connections, one may soon get the opportunity.

Tech will host the fifth annual Small Business Expo from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center, according to a Tech news release. The event will provide the chance for people to interact with different business owners and government agencies.

Carol Sumner, vice president of the Tech Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, will speak at the event, and Dell EMC will present a virtual reality experience for attendees to travel the world, according to the news release.

The expo, according to the news release, will be free and provide chances for attendees to win door prizes.
