Nov. 16
11:45 a.m., an officer investigated harassment in Murray Residence Hall in which a student received text messages and phone calls from another student.
12:15 p.m., an officer investigated theft at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in which two tall sconces and two candles were reported stolen from the waiting room.
12:15 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle in the C-4 parking lot. No injuries were reported.
1:23 p.m., an officer investigated burglary of a habitation in Coleman Residence Hall in which two laptop computers were reported stolen.
8 p.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in the Z-5C parking lot in which several eggs were thrown on a vehicle.

Nov. 17
9:57 a.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in Weymouth Residence hall in which several exit signs and ceiling tiles were damaged during several weeks. During the investigation, the officer issued a citation to a student for possession of alcohol by a minor.
12:31 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in the R-18 parking lot. No injuries were reported.
4:01 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle in the C-2 parking lot. No injuries were reported.
4:39 p.m., an officer arrested a non-student for criminal trespass at the Sam’s Place at Sneed Residence Hall. The non-student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.
7:49 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle in the C-14 parking lot. No injuries were reported.

Nov. 18
12:30 a.m., an officer arrested a student in Weymouth Residence hall for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of marijuana. The student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

Nov. 19
2:55 p.m., an officer documented lost property in the University Library by the copy machines in which a passport and other documents were lost.
3:09 p.m., an officer documented damaged property at Coleman Residence Hall in which a door was reported damaged.
3:31 p.m., an officer investigated theft in the locker room of the Robert H. Ewalt Student Recreation Center in which a wallet was reported stolen.
4:53 p.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency in the HSC C-1 parking lot in which a non-student tripped over a parking bumper.
5:25 p.m., an officer documented a request for a welfare check of a former Tech student living in Irving. A staff member reported the former student was distraught about financial and employment issues.
11:25 p.m., an officer issued a citation to a student in Weymouth Residence Hall for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 20
2:16 a.m., an officer arrested a student for public intoxication in the R-13 parking lot of Drane Hall. The student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.
2:19 a.m., an officer arrested two students for public intoxication in the Z4-M parking lot. The students were transported to the Lubbock County Jail.
8:52 a.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in Murray Residence Hall in which two toilet paper dispensers in the men’s restroom were damaged.
12:56 p.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in the R-2 parking lot in which the tailgate and driver’s side quarter-panel of a pickup were scratched.
4:41 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in which a vehicle struck a fixture in the 2500 block of Broadway Avenue. No injuries were reported.
6:35 p.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in the Z6-A parking lot in which the passenger’s side rear-view mirror on a vehicle was damaged.
11:52 p.m., an officer investigated burglary of a vehicle in the Z4-P parking lot in which a Sony CD player, baseball hat and baseball glove were reported stolen.

Nov. 21
3:07 a.m., an officer documented information about a damaged locking mechanism in a room at the Architecture building.
8:11 a.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in Murdough Residence Hall in which ceiling tiles were broken and scattered throughout the hallway.
10:40 a.m., an officer arrested a non-student for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco by a minor at Gate 2 of Jones AT&T Stadium. The non-student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail. A second non-student was issued a Lubbock County citation for possession of tobacco by a minor and was released.
1:06 p.m., an officer investigated a reported assault in Section 118 of Jones AT&T Stadium. A non-student reportedly pushed another non-student. The non-student who was pushed claimed he twisted his ankle when pushed.
1:18 p.m., an officer investigated burglary of a motor vehicle at the Texas Tech Federal Credit Union parking lot in which a vehicle was shattered and cash was reported stolen from a purse.
4:53 p.m., an officer arrested a non-student for an outstanding Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department warrant in the 2500 block of Main Street.
7:10 p.m., an officer arrested a non-student for discharging a firearm within the municipality and unlawfully carrying a weapon in plain view in the 1800 block of Indiana Avenue. The non-student discharged the weapon vertically.
7:20 p.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief on the fifth floor of Clement Residence Hall in which several ceiling tiles were damaged.
7:30 p.m., an officer arrested a non-student for public intoxication in the 1800 block of Indiana Avenue. The non-student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.
11:41 p.m., an officer arrested a non-student for public intoxication in the R-13 parking lot west of Drane Hall. The non-student was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

Nov. 22
12:20 a.m., an officer documented information about three travel trailers that plugged into power outlets from KTXT-TV for personal use in the C-13 parking lot. The trailers disconnected the cords from the building.
3:24 a.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief at Gates Residence Hall in which a light pole was damaged.
9:04 a.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in Weymouth Residence Hall in which a light fixture cover and eight ceiling tiles were damaged.
3:10 p.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief to a vehicle in the Z-2B parking lot in which the hood, driver’s side and trunk of the vehicle were reported scratched.

Nov. 23
12:21 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle in the Z-6A parking lot. No injuries were reported.
1:21 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle in the R-19 parking lot of the Merket Alumni Center. No injuries were reported.
1:40 p.m., an officer documented drug paraphernalia in a Coleman Residence Hall room. University Student Housing employees found the paraphernalia during room checks.
2:29 p.m., an officer documented a fire in the Z-2B parking lot in which a pile of leaves caught fire. The Lubbock Fire Department responded. No injuries or damaged property were reported.
2:52 p.m., an officer investigated breach of computer security in the Chemistry building in which an individual was found using a computer without permission.
2:52 p.m., an officer investigated theft in the Psychology building in which two Dell computer monitors were reported stolen.
3:50 p.m., an officer investigated attempted burglary in the HSC in which it appeared someone tried to gain entry to an office but was unsuccessful.
4:46 p.m., an officer investigated telephone harassment at the University Parking Services tow desk.
5:45 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle in the C-1N parking lot. No injuries were reported.
5:57 p.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency at Wiggins Dining Hall in which a student lost consciousness. The student was transported to the University Medical Center emergency room.
7:39 p.m., an officer investigated theft in the Petroleum Engineering building in which a Dell laptop, a wallet, two debit cards and a Tech student ID were reported stolen from unsecured backpacks.

Nov. 24
10:51 a.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in Coleman Residence Hall in which a fire extinguisher was used on the floor.
12:05 p.m., an officer investigated theft on the south side of Bledsoe Residence Hall in which a Specialized mountain bicycle was reported stolen.
2:05 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in the Flint Avenue Parking Garage. No injuries were reported.
4:21 p.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in Weymouth Residence Hall in which a person broke a ceiling tile.

Nov. 25
3:46 a.m., an officer investigated criminal mischief in Weymouth Residence Hall in which a person damaged an exit sign.
