8:35 a.m., an officer responded to a fire alarm in the Texas Tech School of Law building activated by a high pressure steam valve expelling hot steam. The Lubbock Fire Department responded.
9:30 a.m., an officer investigated theft of a $100 bill that was reported stolen from a student’s unsecured wallet in the John B. Walker Soccer Complex.
2:39 p.m., an officer investigated a hit-and-run accident in the Z2-B parking lot in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle. No injuries were reported.
4:10 p.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency in the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in which a staff member suffered from a diabetic seizure. The staff member was transported to the University Medical Center emergency room for further treatment.
5:18 p.m., an officer investigated theft of an unsecured cell phone in Holden Hall.
9:14 p.m., an officer issued a citation to a student in Weymouth Residence Hall for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Oct. 29
5:11 p.m., an officer investigated a hit-and-run accident in the Z3-F parking lot in which a vehicle struck an unattended vehicle. No injuries were reported.
7:50 p.m., an officer investigated theft of an unattended wallet and its contents from the lobby of Hulen Residence Hall.
Oct. 30
2:04 a.m., an officer investigated the burglary of an unsecured motor vehicle in the Z4-P parking lot. A backpack and its contents were taken.
2:54 a.m., an officer arrested a non-student for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the North Quaker storage facility. The vehicle was returned to its owner and the non-student taken to the Lubbock County Jail.
7:45 a.m., an officer documented damage to a Tech vehicle at an off-campus location.
8:26 a.m., an officer documented information about a possible forgery with medical prescriptions at off-campus locations.
11:19 a.m., an officer documented damage to a vehicle in the 900 block of Boston Avenue. The vehicle’s passenger-side mirror and driver-side fog light were broken.
1:36 p.m., an officer documented damage to the Tech Police Department garage area. The interior wall of the interior garage was backed into by a university vehicle.
3:20 p.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency in the basement hallway of the Human Sciences building. A student was complaining of body numbness and was taken to the UMC emergency room.
6:19 p.m., an officer investigated an attempted burglary of vehicles in the Z5-B parking lot. The driver’s-side door lock on a vehicle was punched inward.
11:08 p.m., an officer investigated theft of a red and silver men’s bicycle at the University Library east bicycle racks.
Oct. 31
1:02 a.m., an officer issued a citation to a non-student for possession of alcohol by a minor and released him pending the filing of charges for public intoxication on the first floor of Weymouth Residence Hall.
2:43 a.m., an officer arrested a student for public intoxication in the Z4-M parking lot. The student was taken to the Lubbock County Jail.
1:24 p.m., an officer detained a non-student following the report of him panhandling near the C-3 parking lot. The non-student was issued a criminal trespass warning and was released.
2:11 p.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency near Gate 3 of the Jones AT&T Stadium. A non-student was taken to the UMC emergency room for further treatment.
3:15 p.m., an officer arrested a student on the south concourse of the Jones AT&T Stadium for public intoxication. The student was taken to the Lubbock County Jail.
5:40 p.m., an officer arrested a student on the club level at the Jones AT&T Stadium for disorderly conduct. The student was taken to the Lubbock County Jail.
10:54 p.m., an officer issued a citation to a student on the north side of the Wiggins Dining Hall for possession of drug paraphernalia. The student was released pending the filing of charges for possession of marijuana.
Nov. 1
1:58 a.m., an officer arrested a student for public intoxication in the Z4-M parking lot. The student was taken to the Lubbock County Jail.
2:03 a.m., an officer documented information about a non-student in the 1600 block of Akron Avenue who was suffering from four stab wounds in the lower back that he received at an off-campus location. The non-student was taken to Covenant Emergency Room for further treatment.
4:16 a.m., an officer investigated the burglary of two backpacks reported stolen from an unsecured vehicle in the Z4-P parking lot.
8:59 a.m., an officer arrested a non-student on the ninth-floor study lounge in Coleman Residence Hall for an outstanding Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department warrant. The non-student was taken to the Lubbock County Jail.
6:30 p.m., an officer investigated the burglary of a dummy artillery shell taken from an unsecured vehicle in the 2500 block of Broadway Avenue.
10:44 p.m., an officer documented information about a possible sexual assault of a student at an off-campus location. The Lubbock Police Department responded to investigate the report.
Nov. 2
8:30 a.m., an officer investigated theft of numerous food items reported stolen from inside an employee’s refrigerator in the Health Sciences Center.
10:30 a.m., an officer documented information about a disturbance in the R-14 parking lot during the Tech football game Oct. 31.
3:11 p.m., an officer investigated the theft of a men’s Mongoose bicycle at the Weymouth Residence Hall bicycle racks.
10:26 p.m., an officer investigated an accident in the 1300 block of Texas Tech Parkway. No injuries were reported.
10:58 p.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency on the intramural field at 15th Street and Flint Avenue. A student injured his right eye and nose while participating in a flag football game. The student was taken to the UMC emergency room for further treatment.

8:05 a.m., an officer investigated the burglary of an unsecured vehicle in the R-8 parking lot. A Tech parking permit was reported stolen.
9:33 a.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency on a Citibus near Memorial Circle. A student had passed out and was taken to UMC.
9:35 a.m., an officer responded to a medical emergency on the second floor of the Health Sciences Center. A non-student was suffering from a seizure and was taken to UMC.
10:17 a.m., an officer responded to a fire alarm activated by a child on the third floor of the Texas Tech Physicians Medical Pavilion.
11:15 a.m., an officer investigated theft of an unsecured wallet on the first floor of the University Library.
3:20 p.m., an officer investigated theft of a $20 bill that was reported stolen from room 3B161 at the Health Sciences Center.
7:41 p.m., an officer investigated an accident at the intersection of Texas Tech Parkway and Marsha Sharp Freeway. Minor injuries were reported.
