Snow Day at Urbanovsky Park
Hills are hard to find in the flatlands of Lubbock but these Texas Tech students make due with the one found outside of the United Supermarkets Arena in Urbanovsky Park.Â
Madison Klam, a freshman Creative Media Industries major from Weimar, Texas sleds down the hill at Urbanovsky park. Students were using anything from tractor tires to cardboard to create makeshift sleds.Â
Vanessa Tarngo and Kara Elliot, juniors from Dallas, Texas use a deflated blow up mattress to slide down the iced hill outside the United Supermarkets Arena.Â

Anything item can become a vessel to sled as shown by students using a tractor tire to slide down the hill.Â
Students used a variety of vessels to enjoy the snow at Urbanovsky Park after this weekend's snow storms.Â

Texas Tech students take to Urbanovsky Park to sled down the hill behind the United Supermarkets Arena and have a snowball fight. The freezing temperatures did not deter these Red Raiders from enjoying the snow that has covered Lubbock this weekend.Â
