Canyon Run dog park officially opened

Dogs roam around the new dog park and gather together in a group on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Canyon Run Dog Park.

Student Activities Board will host "Puppies in the Park" on Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. in Urbanovsky Park, located on 1500 Flint Ave.

The event will feature a screening of "A Dog's Way Home" and all those who attend are invited to bring their dogs, according to the SAB website. Free snow cones and puppy treats will also be available.

The event is free for students with a valid TTU ID. If owners bring their dogs to the event, dog tags should be visible, and owners should have an updated shot record, according to the SAB website. Dogs must also remain leashed.

The rainout location for the event is in the Student Union Ballroom. No puppies will be allowed in the ballroom if rainout occurs.
