CASP Construction of Work Studios

CASP is constructing four new work studios for local artists, pictured here at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at the Charles Adams Gallery. The studios are competitively priced and are open to the public every First Friday.

Charles Adams Studio Project (CASP) will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of four new work studios from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at 408 Ave. J in Downtown Lubbock.

The ceremony will be hosted just before the First Friday Art Trail commences, according to the press release. CASP is a nonprofit organization that is active in the First Friday Art Trail every month and serves the Lubbock Arts District to develop and sustain the local art community.

The artists chosen for the new work studios are Rachel Anderson and Valerie Hlavaty, who will be in Studio E; Ashley Saed, who will be in Studio F; Joey Martinez, who will be in Studio G; and Carolina Arellanos, Sean Scully, Scotty Hensler and Victoria Shields, who will be in Studio H.
