No students, two non-students arrested at Tech football game

Nov. 24

An officer issued a criminal trespass warning at 10 a.m. at Texas Tech's New Deal farm to an ex-employee of the farm.

An officer investigated credit card abuse at 11:05 a.m. in Murdough Residence Hall in which a student found another students' debit card and used it.

An officer documented the securing of a room at 12:05 p.m. in the Chemistry building upon the notification of the death of an employee.

An officer documented missing property at 1:20 p.m. in the Tech Health Sciences Center Health Net offices in which two cameras were reported missing.

An officer investigated credit/debit card abuse at 2:24 p.m. at a Sam's Place in which a student found another students' debit card and used it at the convenience store.

An officer investigated an accident at 3:30 p.m. in the C-1 parking lot in which an unattended vehicle was struck by another vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Nov. 25

A student was arrested at 1:59 a.m. in the 2600 block of Fourth Street for driving while intoxicated. Two passengers were released to a responsible party. The driver was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

A non-student received a criminal trespass warning at 9:50 a.m. in the 2900 block of 18th Street after the non-student was detained for a bicycle violation. Further investigation revealed that the non-student previously was arrested for burglary of a vehicle.

An officer documented damaged property to a vehicle at 12:30 p.m. in the Z-1C parking lot in which the vehicle was scratched.

An officer documented information about a vehicle hitting a pedestrian at 5:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Flint Avenue The pedestrian did not wish to file a police report. Both parties involved in the accident gave conflicting stories of the exact location of the accident.

Nov. 26

An officer documented damaged property to a vehicle at 1:44 a.m. at the HSC service drive in which the right rear quarter panel and door of the vehicle were damaged.

An officer investigated an assault at 11:52 a.m. at the Tech Physical Plant between two temporary employees. One of the employees reportedly grabbed the other by the neck and broke his glasses. The employee was terminated and sent a criminal trespass warning by mail.

An officer investigated an accident at 3:35 p.m. in the 3500 block of 10th Street. Minor injuries were reported.

An officer investigated theft at 3:35 p.m. in Doak Hall in which U.S. currency was reported stolen from a desk.

Nov. 28

An officer investigated burglary of a habitation at 10:23 p.m. in Chitwood Residence Hall in which a Sanyo flat screen television was reported stolen.

Nov. 29

A non-student was arrested at 3:17 p.m. at Gate 4 of Jones AT&T Stadium for public intoxication and was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

A non-student was arrested at 4 p.m. at Gate 4 of Jones AT&T Stadium and was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

Dec. 1

An officer investigated theft at 1:07 p.m. at Clement Residence Hall in which a bicycle was reported stolen.

An officer investigated criminal mischief at 2:19 p.m. in the Z-4P parking lot in which a vehicle window was shattered.

An officer investigated debit card abuse at 3:34 p.m. at an ATM in the Student Union Building.

Dec. 2

A non-student was arrested at 3:28 a.m. in the 1500 block of Flint Avenue for driving while intoxicated and was transported to the Lubbock County Jail.
